One of the areas we focus on in the NRC seminars is the topic of the New Creation / New Life. Who are we as born again people and what is our position in the spiritual world?
New Creation
If we want to succeed in the spiritual battle against the Devil, we need to understand our identity, who we are in Christ, in addition to working with the Holy Spirit. When we were born again, there was a huge change in the spiritual world. The Adam-type person became a Christ-type person in a moment. But if we don’t understand what happened and who we have become, we will continue to live according to who we were and not who we are now. Let’s look at this together so that we can understand who we are and may the Lord Jesus be glorified powerfully in and through us.
Renewal of the Mind
To move from functioning according to who we were to who we are now, we need to change the way we think. The Apostle Paul calls it that we need to renew our minds. We need to consciously begin to identify with what God’s Word says about us and not with how others or society has labeled us.
Spiritual Warfare
When we are born again, we cannot avoid one unpleasant fact. And that is spiritual warfare. The devil first tried to keep us from Christ at all costs, but when he failed, he at least tries to keep us paralyzed and neutralized. Let’s look together at what strategies and tactics he uses so that we can more effectively avoid his wiles. Let’s understand how we can consistently win against the Devil.
